Clubs and Organizations at MCC
Students are encouraged to enjoy other interests, both social and academic, at MCC through participation in the variety of student organizations. For more information on clubs and organizations at MCC, contact Aileen Clay, Director of Student Life at aclay@ccsnh.edu.

Accounting Club
This club is open to students enrolled in Accounting and other business majors. It explores career and transfer options within the business world. In addition, the club invites guest speakers, plans visits to four-year colleges, and initiates community service project.

Alternative Spring Break (ASB)
Annual trips, organized by and for students, offer service-based travel in and out of the U.S.. Recent projects include Habitat for Humanity in South Carolina and North Carolina, Katrina clean up, and a medical mission to the Dominican Republic.
Advisor: Jill Reid (Dominican Republic Medical Mission), Brian Hand (Habitat for Humanity), or Terry Chisholm (TRIO Service Trip)
Ambassadors
This select group of students represents the college and their major at a variety of on and off campus events, such as open house, orientation, and high school visits. Students must be nominated to serve as Ambassadors.

AmeriCorps / Community Service Club
AmeriCorps members provide leadership and service on campus and in the community. Recent projects included holiday toy drives, Thanksgiving food baskets, book fairs, and walk-a-thons.

Art & Design Club
This club is open to all students and alumni of MCC. It provides open studio time for anyone interested in fine arts, graphic design and interior design. In addition, club members plan and participate in activities such as trips to art museums and workshops.

Building Construction Club
The club is open to all students interested in working on building projects around the community.

Campus Activity Board (CAB)
CAB sponsors and supports a wide variety of student activities, including ski trips, Final Stress Busters, Red Sox games, New York City visits, Spring Social and much more.

Collegiate Christian
Student-led Bible study, which also includes local speakers and community involvement.

Educators Resource Club
This newly formed club provides resources for students interested in the field of Education, such as professional development and support systems.

The Gamer’s Community (TGC)
TGC showcases different genres of games that push the boundaries, and promote video games as more than just games. The club host tournaments and competitions throughout the year.

GLBTA (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgender Alliance)
This club serves as a support group on campus. Meetings and activities, including a monthly potluck dinner, are open to the entire student body.

Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter
The club is open to any student interested in Habitat for Humanity. Activities include volunteer projects, trade shows, and Habitat for Humanity trips.

International Club
Open to all students, the club’s missions is to raise awareness and understanding of different cultures both on and off campus.

Invisible Children Club
This new club raises awareness about the plight of child soldiers in northern Uganda and other war-torn regions.

Kappa Beta Delta – Business Honor Society
The purpose of this society is to encourage and recognize scholarships and accomplishments among business students. It also promotes aspirations toward personal and professional improvement.

Leaders for Empowerment, Awareness, and Prevention (LEAP)
Hosted by the Human Services program, but open to all students, this club is involved in the community by raising awareness, providing assistance, and promoting services.

Medical Assistant Club
This club focuses on the field of medical assisting, including career awareness, peer support, and community service.

National Student Nurses Association (NSNA)
This group plans a wide range of events and activities that deal with the field of healthcare and nursing.

Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda brings business and education together in a positive relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) – Honor Society
The Alpha Pi Rho chapter of PTK, the national honor society for two-year colleges, recognizes scholarship, leadership, and service. Students who have a 3.5 or higher GPA are invited to join and participate.

Team S.E.A.L.’D. (Self-empowerment and Leadership Development)
This club helps student leaders strengthen their skills while supporting emerging student leaders as they consider getting involved. They provide students with experiences on and off campus that helps to build leadership skills.

Tech Racing Team
Students participate in all facets of autocross racing, such as pre-race preparation, pit crew activities, driving, sponsorship development, and maintenance of the team’s racecar.

TRIO Leadership Club
The club includes a wide variety of activities that support TRIO students and the college community.

Vanguard Literary Magazine
The Vanguard is the college's literary magazine. Students in all majors are invited to contribute materials to be included. The editorial staff is comprised of students.
