Students training in the Fitness Center

MCC's Fitness Center

Students, faculty and staff are invited to use the Fitness Center. There is no charge to use this well-equipped and professionally staffed center. Fitness specialists provide assessment, program design, personal training nutrition assessment, fitness classes, and a friendly and safe workout environment. Fitness Center hours are posted for each semester, and may change based on usage patterns.

Wednesday10 am - 5 pm
Thursday9 am - 3 pm
Friday10 am - 2 pm(Depending on demand.)

Fitness Equipment

The Fitness Center at MCC has the same capabilities and equipment you would find at a commercial gym. Some of the equipment available for use includes:

  • Cardiovascular machines (i.e. treadmills, ellipticals, etc.)
  • Free weights
  • Free motion functional trainer
  • Multi-station strength training machine
  • Variety of weighted medicine balls
  • Stability balls

Fitness Services

In addition, the Fitness Center has a Wellness Director available to assist you. The following services are available for all students, faculty and staff, at no expense:

  • Fitness assessment
  • Personal training
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Nutritional assessment

Athletics on Campus

Manchester Community College offers club sports. Schedules are arranged each year for competition among other club teams in soccer, basketball, baseball, golf and volleyball.

Students must be enrolled and in good standing to be eligible to participate in any athletic program. Also, students must have on file a doctor’s statement of that student’s satisfactory physical condition as well as proof of health and accident insurance coverage for league play.
